Short on space?  Most projectors require somewhere between 1.3 and 2.5 times the width of the screen as the distance between the screen and the projector.  This means that if you want a 2.4m wide image, you need to allow at least 2.4 x 1.3 = 3.12m and up to 2.4 x 2.5 =6m metres of unobstructed space in front of the screen.

Most of the time you just don’t have this much room to spare – hence the Super Short Throw Projector Hire we have available here in Sydney!  This projector uses a special lens / mirror combination which allows a 2.4m wide image from as close as only 1.1m away from the screen!  This gives more space back to your audience and reduces the issue of shadows etc on the screen when people walk through the projected image.

The projector runs at WXGA resolution (1280 x 800) which is supported by all major devices, and with a contrast ratio of 16000:1 your blacks will appear ‘blacker’ – and your colours will appear more vibrant.

This projector’s brightness is measured at 3,300 ANSI lumens, which is enough to work in most corporate spaces with overhead fluorescent lighting, especially as the projector is very close to the screen. You will always get the best results by avoiding direct sunlight and controlling the ambient light in the room as much as possible.

The built-in speakers are suitable for most boardroom style meetings of 5-10 people.  If you really need high quality sound or if you have a slightly larger audience please let us know and we can discuss the best solution for your needs.

With a standard HDMI input and support for older VGA or even composite video, you can be confident it will work in any situation.

We can also supply USB-C, Apple MacBook, iPhone / iPad and other adapters (like Lenovo full size HDMI etc) to make it work with just about every device.

You can project onto a white wall or even a low cost tripod screen, however for the best result we strongly recommend a firm, stretched professional projection screen for the best image and maximum light reflection.
