Event: St Leonards Square by Mirvac, Ground Breaking Ceremony
Location: Construction Site, St Leonards
Requirements: Audio Support for Speeches and Media
What we delivered:
Recently, Mirvac conducted their ground breaking ceremony for the St Leonards Square development – a luxury 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartment complex.
Introduced by Toby Long, General Manager Major Projects at Mirvac, the speakers included Andrew Constance, NSW Minister for Transport and Infrastructure, Councillor Deborah Hutchens, Mayor of Lane Cove and Susan Lloyd-Hurwitz, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director (CEO/MD) & Director of Mirvac Board.
With an audience of over 50 senior VIP’s, our task was to ensure a high quality audio production with minimal intrusion on the site all the while complying with safe-work practices suitable for a construction site. Audio feeds were also provided to television media. Steel cap boots, hard-hats and all other safety equipment and test & tag compliance was the order of the day!
As we were in an outdoor environment, we used highest quality Shure ULXD wireless hand held microphones mounted on a stand in front of the lectern position to ensure good quality pick-up of the spoken word while avoiding background noise, wind and other factors. We ensured that not only did everyone in the area hear and understand the presenters, we also provided a quality feed to the media camera’s and provided a back up recording of the audio as well.
